We have the pleasure to inform you that DCCI Business Institute (DBI) is going to organize an In-person Daylong Workshop on ‘Advanced Leadership for Breakthrough Results’, scheduled to be held during 14 October 2022 from 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM at DBI, Dhaka Chamber Building, 11th floor, 65-66 Motijheel C/A, Dhaka-1000.
Brief Overview on Topic: Leadership is the ability to influence a group toward the achievement of goals and management. Leadership is all about helping others to succeed. In most cases, people perform at about 60% of their potential with no leadership at all. Thus, an additional 40% can be realized if effective leadership is available. Leadership training is extremely important for every business. While the people you have leading your company may have the educational background and work experience you desire, they may not have the skills that are needed to properly lead your business, guide employees, or become successful. With all these necessary attributes in consideration, DBI has been offering this training course for long.
Objective: The objectives of the training course are to provide functional knowledge about approach, methods and instruments of leadership for developing and harnessing collective efforts of manpower to make a business competitive and sustainable.
Contents: Knowing the Leader in you; Why people follow you as a leader; Understanding valuable insights within you (Self-awareness); Importance of leadership, Leadership approaches, Attributes of a good leader, Role of a leader in strategic planning and execution, Difference between a manager and a leader, Transactional and transformational leadership; Understanding different dimensions of higher-level leadership capability; Improvement scope in order to be a leader of individual choice; Action plan for necessary improvement.
Who Can Attend: Entrepreneurs; Importers, Exporters, Suppliers, Manufacturers, Supervisors, Managers, Senior and Mid-Level Executives and any other person interested for developing leadership & quality management.
Facilitator: Facilitator of the training is Mr. M A Mannan, Director, Global Inclusion Bangladesh Ltd. He is equipped with over 29 years’ hands on experiences in MNC and local conglomerates namely FedEx Express, PRAN-RFL Group, Fakir Apparels, Olila Glass Industries, Searchlite MLC, DVC; etc. in different management and leadership roles and responsibilities. He is a FedEx Purple Academy certified management & leadership trainer since 2004. He has facilitated a huge number of trainings for FedEx Bangladesh and beyond for many respected companies on various fields like Leadership, Team Building & Teamwork, Stress Management, Conflict Management, High Performance Managers, Customer Service Excellence, The 4 Disciplines of Execution, Emotional Intelligence, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and various need-based trainings. He is from Dhaka University. Studied management. Strongly believe in value addition and continual improvement. Received various certificates courses in home and abroad. Used to write articles on management and leadership; many of his articles have been published in The Daily Star and in The Independent Newspapers. He frequently appears on the TV programs on Leadership, Soft Skills & Organizational transformation through people. Mr. Mannan is associated with various professional bodies.
